Digital precision and the team ready to fly
At Pilatus, manufacturing our high-quality aircraft requires a blend of diverse skills, rigorous quality control, and management of thousands of parts. The Digital Workorder is our compass through this end-to-end process. Our goal was a fully digital system, a goal that came with a demanding and emerging set of requirements. In order to meet this challenge Pilatus and DCC did an excellent job of engaging users from the beginning. A crucial moment was a three-day simulation with 5 sprints. It provided us with a comprehensive roadmap that guided us through our agile journey, while showing us the skills we needed for the first six months of project work.
Digital Product Management
After the successful launch, our business team became an integral part of the product lifecycle, including software configuration, testing, and training for our 800 users. DCC actively contributed to project management, offered practical solutions, conducted interactive management sessions, and organized enrichment workshops. This approach fit seamlessly into our IT and our business processes, resulting in the following:
- The unification of IT and business through co-creation
 - Transformation of our business processes into digital workflows, consolidating all vital information within a single solution, including parts, quality notes, assembly instructions, and workflow management
 - Implementation led by our own team members, with the Digital Workorder app being conceptualized and crafted by our Pilatus workforce

“DCC is a team of seasoned change managers with a wealth of experience from numerous large-scale transformation projects. They are accessible and always committed to helping our organization and stakeholders leverage digital capabilities wherever needed. DCC is among the pioneers of low-code technology and has a deep understanding of how to scale and empower an organization for low-code success.”
